The International Aloe Science Council is a non-profit trade organization for the Aloe Vera industry worldwide.

Certification program for raw materials and finished goods assures people you are using the purest, most beneficial Aloe possible. This program protects you and the industry from companies using adulterated Aloe and from making false product claims. Companies who use the IASC Seal of Certification on their products assure:

• represent truth in labeling;

• represent the quantity in Aloe content;

• represent that the Aloe used in the products comes from a certified source.

In 1978, Forever Living Products led the way for the world to rediscover the great benefits of aloe vera. The International Aloe Science Council was started in 1981 as an association to protect the aloe vera industry against unfair competition and unnecessary regulations. In 1982, twenty-five member companies were part of the Council. A code of ethics was agreed upon and an inspection and testing program was hammered out. To maintain objectivity in testing, an independent a laboratory was chosen to perform the inspection and testing of aloe vera products for purity and strength. Those companies whose products meet the high standards are certified and allowed to display the International Aloe Science Seal of Approval. This critical testing program began in late 1985.

In early 1986 it was announced that Forever Living Products' Aloe Vera Juice, Gel and Nectar would be the first to meet or exceed the International Aloe Science Council's high standards and authorization was granted to display the Seal of Approval. Our goal has always been to be first in the aloe vera industry and to lead the world with the highest quality products.

None of FLP's products, nor the ingredients are tested on animals. We are proud to say that Forever Living Products subscribe to the standards set down by PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) and are approved by PETA.

We are happy to announce that Forever Living and Aloe Vera of America have been certified by the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA) www.ifanca.org to market our qualifying goods as 'Halal'. This symbol is a Kosher rating given to products that meet very rigid standards of purity and quality. Since Forever Living is an international company serving a diverse population, it is important for customers to enjoy health benefits derived from our Living line of Aloe Vera products. To receive this important rating, an official representing a certified laboratory must inspect the plant operation, formula, processing steps and the ingredients. Only when it is determined that everything is in compliance with their very high standards is a rating granted. In many circles, products with a Kosher rating are looked upon as being of a higher quality. This symbol is another assurance we have that Forever Living Products are the finest in the world.

Ever since Forever Living Products was founded in 1978, FLP had the utmost respect for nature. While Forever Living Products have always been environmentally conscious, FLP panted to hold ourselves accountable.

In 2006 FLP launched a formal environmental sustainability program to challenge themselves to do more. Forever Living Products's documented Environmental Management System was certified to the international ISO 14000 standard and we have maintained that certification every year since! We designated two areas where we could improve:

Since FLP began monitoring their progress they have reduced their waste by 50% and increased their recycling from 26% to 61%. While we are proud of this progress, and Forever Living Products are not slowing down. They continue to progress and challenge themselves to do more.

FLP's Carbon Footprint - Forever Living Products' net carbon footprint is one of a net positive effect on the environment. When it comes to the efficiency of converting CO2 into oxygen, 20 Aloe plants are equal to one tree. With over 40 million aloe vera plants in our plantations, our aloe vera plantations actually cleanse the earth of 2 million tons of CO2 every year!

• FACTS CONCERNING THE PLASTIC BOTTLE MATERIAL USED FOR FLP ALOE VERA DRINKS - User and eco-friendly bottles.

All bottles produced for Aloe Vera Gel and the other Aloe drinks sold by Forever Living Products are manufactured from material presently listed for use in food packaging applications as described in the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulation 21 CFR 177.1520 (C) 3.2A. All materials used in the manufacture of these bottles are approved for food contact. These bottles are in compliance with FDA requirements, along with the applicable European Union Directive and UK Statutory Instrument.

Virtually all materials used in food packaging are approved by the FDA for direct food contact. In the case of materials used for our Aloe Vera drink bottles, there are no that can leach into the actual products.

 The number on the bottom of the plastic bottle indicates the type of plastic for recycling purposes ONLY - it DOES NOT necessarily indicate type of material used. The industry guidelines established for coding plastic bottles are as follows: "1" is PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate); "2" is HDPE (High Density Polyethylene); "5" is PP (Polypropylene). The number "7" is for plastic materials other than those indicated by symbols 1 through 6, or for combinations of different materials. Bottles with the "7" symbol can be made from any of hundreds of different types of materials. In the case of our Aloe Vera drink bottles, they are compatible in recycling streams with the symbol "5" (PP).

Forever Living Product Aloe Vera drinks are bottled in plastic bottles with the "7" symbol because they contain multiple layers of Polypropylene with an oxygen barrier layer in the middle. We use this multi-layer bottle to ensure our Aloe Vera has the oxygen barrier layer needed in order to provide maximum product integrity and shelf life. Additionally, the added antioxidant (oxygen) layer does NOT contain bisphenol A (BPA), but rather a type of vinyl material. The only material in our bottles that comes in contact with the Aloe drinks is FDA-approved food-grade Polypropylene - not Polycarbonate, which contains BPA. Both Forever Pomesteen Power and Forever Natural Spring Water are bottled in "1" PET bottles, which is common for soft drink and water bottles that do not need protection from oxidation.

 Often, public misinformation can lead to urban legends - particularly in the food and manufacturing industries - whether intentionally or not. Please be assured that there is NO polycarbonate, BPA, or any other dangerous substance in any of our plastic bottles.

Gluten is a large protein found in wheat and certain other grains - barely, spelt and rye. Many people can have difficulties digesting gluten, and for an estimated 1 out of 100 people, gluten can trigger an immune system response that may lead to impaired nutrient absorption and wide range of other symptoms throughout the body.

With the increasing awareness of gluten and the desire of many to follow a gluten- free diet, the vast majority of products Forever Living offers are gluten-free. This means they test at levels far less than 20 parts per million (ppm) of gluten - the level set by the US Food and Drug Administration for gluten-free claims.
